Cassese Appraisals, Mary Lou Cassese (owner), with its home office located in East Orleans, offers real estate appraisals services for both residential and commercial properties located throughout Barnstable (Cape Cod) and Nantucket Counties.
Our clients include buyers and sellers of real estate, financing and refinancing institutions such as banks and mortgage companies, and estate planning, settlement, trust and probate attorneys. We specialize in waterfront residential homes and estates on Cape Cod and Nantucket Island.

Mary Lou Cassese holds the Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License in Massachusetts and is an Associate member of the Appraisal Institute, the oldest and most prestigious professional appraisal organization in the US. Mary Lou serves on the Town of Orleans Board of Assessors and is a member of several other professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers, Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, Massachusetts Board of Realtors and Business Network International, the business referral organization.
Mary Lou has been working in the real estate appraisal profession for five years, since 2002. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA. Her prior professional experience includes 25 years with IBM in Endicott, NY, Armonk, NY and Dallas, TX in various financial and pricing management positions, and 5 years as bank Branch Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina.
